Margaret Jane Harris Boyer, age 84, of Morrilton, Arkansas, died on Friday, February 2, 2024. She was born to the late Elbert and Mabel Hurley Harris on February 10, 1939.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurl Dean Boyer; brothers, Doyle Garrigus, Harold "Cotton" Harris, and Bobby Harris; and brother-in-law, Bill Boyer.
She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky Boyer of Morrilton and Larry and Martha Boyer of Morrilton; sister-in-law, Gearldean Boyer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Betty Tognetti. She was known as Memaw to her grandchildren, Stephanie (Matt) Mourot, Brandy (AJ) Hartman, Matt (Amanda) Boyer, Kelli (Bradley) Bloomfield, and Shawn (Aly) Boyer. Great-grandchildren left behind are Madison Mourot, Grey Mourot, Landon Boyer, Emma Hartman, Addy Kate Boyer, Jaxon Hartman, Abby Boyer, Jhett Hartman, Anna Boyer, Everly Hartman, and Aubree Boyer.
Margaret was the proud owner of Morrilton Drive Inn Restaurant for over 50 years where she made lifelong friendships. Her greatest love was her family. She also had a deep love for singing, playing the piano, and going to the horse races with Hurl Dean.

Burial will be at Vinson Chapel Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Pallbearers will be Bruce Hawkins, Mark Stobaugh, Steve Charton, Allen Lipsmeyer, Ricky Horn, Marlin Boyle, Steve Pruitt, and Mark Turpin. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Hersey, Dennis Surratt, Chris Salard, Matt Mourot, AJ Hartman, Matt Boyer, Shawn Boyer, Bradley Bloomfield, Grey Mourot, Landon Boyer, Jaxson Hartman, and Jhett Hartman.
