ENOCH FRANK TRIPLETT
Enoch Frank Triplett was born May 27, 1877 at Bloomfield, Mo., and died Dec. 19 at 1:30 a. m., age 67 years, 6 months and 22 days. Mr. Triplett had spent most of his life around and near Bloomfield, being interested in a number of enterprises. He always enjoyed his work, including farming in many sections of the country.
He united with the Pleasant Valley church near Essex, Mo., in 1932. He has been a faithful Christian up to his departure from this life.
In his last hours he was happy and told his family he was prepared and ready to go.
He was married very young and to this union were born two children. He is survived by one son, Arthur Triplett of Detroit, Mich. His first wife having passed away, he married Mrs. Sally Young in 1908 and to this union one son was born, Odas Triplett of Detroit. He is also survived, by two step-children, Ernie Graves of Senath, Mo., and Mrs. Clarence Chaney of Flint, Mich.; also seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He also leaves two brothers and one sister, Avery, Triplett of Detroit, Mich., Howard Triplett of Morley, Mo., and Mrs. Lizzie Bate of Detroit, Mich., and one-half-brother, Robert Brown of Essex, Mo., and a host of nieces and nephews with many friends to mourn his going.
Funeral services were held at Pleasant Valley church at 2:30, Dec. 21, 1944, with Rev. G. A. Griffey officiating.
