Ashley Michaela Smith, age 35, of Glendale, AZ, passed away on Sunday, September 24th, 2023, in Phoenix, AZ, due to a random act of gun violence.
She was born on August 10th, 1988, in Sandwich, IL, to James and Angi Smith.
She graduated from Somonauk High School and attended Benedictine University. She loved being a Mother, her family, art, and her pets. We will miss her beautiful smile and cheerful spirit. We are comforted by the fact she is reunited with her darling daughter, Charlotte.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Adam Skinner of Phoenix, AZ; her parents, James and Angi Smith of Glendale, AZ; her sisters, Alexa (Anthony) Milano of Fountain Hills, AZ, Jordan (Kevin) Riley of Glendale, AZ, and Rylee Smith of Glendale, AZ; her nephew, Enzo Milano of Fountain Hills, AZ; her paternal grandparents, Donley and Sharon Larson of Sheridan, IL, and Hannelore Smith of Sullivan, IL; her aunts and uncles, Lisa (Tom) Batters of Germantown Hills, IL, Tammy Gentry of Sheridan, IL, Julie (Britton) Bryce of Chino Valley, AZ, Paula (Keith) Alexander of Sheridan, IL, and Jason (Megan) Smith of Sullivan, IL; and numerous cousins.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Charlotte MaryRose Fowler, her maternal grandparents, William and Mary Lidwell, and her paternal grandfather, George Smith.
