Columbus, GA- MSG (Ret.) Leto Arthur Wisnasky, 64, of Columbus, GA passed away May 25, 2016 at Gentiva Hospice Inpatient Unit in Columbus, GA. A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Saturday, May 28, 2016 beginning 12:30 P.M. EST. The interment will conclude the service at Evergreen Memory Gardens, 4500 St. Mary's Road, Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends Friday, May 27, 2016 at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. EST until 8:00 P.M. EST.
Leto was born August 21, 1951 in Marine, IL to the late Joseph M. Wisnasky and Emeline E. Wisnasky. He was a United States Veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Army, from which her retired as an E-8. He also worked with Davis Electric for over 21 years as an electrician.
Other than his/her parents, he is predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Nola Wisnasky; a daughter, Elizabeth Wisnasky of Columbus, GA; two sons: Kenneth Wisnasky of Smiths Station, AL and Robert Wisnasky of Columbus, GA; a step son Tim Knighton (Channing) of ID; a sister, Sylvia Pentegraft (Lloyd) of Summerfield, IL; three brothers: Charles Wisnasky (Jeannie) of Jerseyville, IL, William Wisnasky of Oak Grove, IL, and George Wisnasky of Stauton, IL; five grandchildren: Allen Wisnasky (Felecity Caywood) of Smiths, AL, Steffan Wisnasky of Smiths, AL, Kynzie Wisnasky of Smiths, AL, Valerie Wisnasky of Columbus, GA, and Joseph Wisnasky of Smiths, AL; one great grandchild, Brooklyn Wisnasky; one great great grandchild, Katilyna Moreno-Wisnasky, and ex-wife, Barbara Wisnasky.
