Dorothy Jean Grinder, her Tribal Name "Silver Waters", age 71 of Dardanelle, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024 at her home. She was born August 26, 1952 in Snowball, Arkansas to the late Clyde Grinder and Bonnie Jean Caughron Grinder.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Charles Stidham, and her siblings, Ruble Treece, Glen Grinder, Joann Hilton, Johnny Grinder and Stevie Grinder.
Survivors include her three children, John Stidham of Centerville, Kimberlee Nash of Ola, Laura Stidham of Dardanelle; siblings, Betty William of Washburn, Missouri, Sue Grinder of Marshall, Arkansas, Glenda Treece of Clinton, Arkansas, Jerry Grinder of Dardanelle, Arkansas, Gerald Grinder of Washburn, Missouri, Richard "Ricky" Grinder of Big Flat, Arkansas; grandchildren, Andrew and Shana Ralph, Johnathon Freeman, Erin and Tyler Gattin, Cody and Shaila Ralph, Katelyn Freeman, John Jr. (Bubba) Stidham, Krystal and Robin Prosser and great grandchildren, Aubrey Welch, Miley Jackson, Avalee Welch, Noah Ralph, Liam Gipson, Aurora Prosser, Ariel Prosser, Jaxson Bolin, Kaden Prosser, Axel Bolin, Hermione Prosser, Anastasia Ralph, Penelope Ralph and one on the way, River Ralph.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00P.M., Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the Gateway Pentecostal Church in Russellville, Arkansas. A private burial will be conducted at a later date in Canaan Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas.
