Fannie and Jacob married 18 Jan 1837 in Lincoln county. Jacob worked as a potter. Fannie and Jacob were the parents of Susan Catherine, Simpson, Margaret, John Jacob and Rudolph Absalom Weaver. By 1880 the census indicates that both Jacob and their daughter, Margaret, were insane. Margaret was admitted to the new Western NC asylum when it opened in 1883 and remained there until her death in 1911. She is buried at the hospital.

"Fannie (Fronica Fisher), daughter of Joseph and Susanna Whitener Fisher, was aged 72 y 9m 10d at time of death, per Zion church records.
DOB per Whitener records, 4 Jan 1815, doesn't add up, but is recorded in "Through Four Generations"
Note: Fanny's brother was named Simpson (Benjamin Simpson Fisher), and so was her son who was killed in the Civil War.
