Jeanerette– A Memorial Service will be conducted for Nancy Trimble Charpentier, 71, on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel of Jeanerette with Deacon Keith Duhon officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 10:00AM until the time of service. A Rosary will be prayed in the funeral home at 1:30PM by Deacon Keith Duhon.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Charpentier passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 10:36PM at her residence.

Mrs. Nancy was a devoted family person, cherishing moments spent with her loved ones. Her love for family was evident in the joy she found in their company, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by all who shared those special times.

A true music enthusiast, Mrs. Nancy found solace and happiness in the melodies that touched her heart. Her passion for music was a source of inspiration for those around her, leaving a harmonious legacy that will be remembered fondly.

Known for her fondness for collecting nicknacks, Mrs. Nancy had an eye for the unique and extraordinary. Her collection was a reflection of the diverse and interesting experiences she encountered throughout her life, each piece holding a special place in her heart.

In the kitchen, Mrs. Nancy was a culinary maestro. Her skills as a cook were unmatched, and her Pecan pralines were a delight enjoyed by friends and family alike. Her culinary creations brought people together, creating a bond through the shared experience of delicious meals prepared with love.

A bit of a risk-taker, Mrs. Nancy found joy in the thrill of the casino. The vibrant lights, the sounds of machines, and the excitement of the games were all part of the fun she enjoyed during her visits.

Mrs. Nancy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and warmth she shared with the world.

She is survived by her children; Brian Trimble and his fiancée, Belinda James, of New Iberia, Mitchell Charpentier and his wife, Crystal Benoit Charpentier, of Jeanerette, Angel Charpentier and her husband, Brandon Latiolais, of Jeanerette, Dawn Charpentier (Arthur Landry) of Jeanerette, Christopher Charpentier of Jeanerette, Berwick Louviere of New Iberia, Adam J. Charpentier Sr. of Jeanerette, Monique Charpentier of Jeanerette, Misty Charpentier (Chad Breaux) of Jeanerette, Dusty Charpentier of Jeanerette, and Rachel Charpentier (Tommy Nguyen), of Jeanerette ;twenty-six grandchildren; thirteen great- grandchildren; a niece; Michelle LeBlanc; and three siblings; Shirley LeBlanc, Lillian Bonin, and David Trimble.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Charpentier Jr; her parents, John and Lillian Trimble; and three brothers; Johnny Trimble, Bobby Trimble, and Billy Trimble.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Acadiana. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Michelle LeBlanc for her care of Mrs. Nancy.
