John Ocie Price married Julia Irene Floyd when he was 22 and she was 20. They had 3 children: Ruby, Alvin, & Ethel. Julia died when Ethel was 8 mos old on Jan 1917. In May of 1918, Ocie, then 28 married Cora, then 24 ( a school teacher). They had 7 children. They lived in Luverne, Alabama until around 1926 when they moved to Jay, Florida where Jean, Bill and Johnny were born. They moved to Plant City, Florida in 1935. Ocie earned a living running a Dairy on a farm in Alabama and later he ran a Dairy in Lorida, Florida and fished commercially on the side. He loved to square dance. He moved his family to Belle Glade somewhere between 1935 and 1940.
