James E. Sphatt, 50, Oshkosh, passed away Sunday, July 4, 1993, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, Neenah.
He was born Aug. 7, 1942, in Oshkosh, the son of Edward and Viola Klitzke Sphatt. Jim married Mary Szesterniac April 2, 1988, in Oshkosh.
He was a U. S. Army veteran and was employed as a dealer development manager at Oshkosh Truck for 27 years. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; one son, Nicholas (Edna) of Abilene, Texas; one daughter, Annette of Oshkosh; two sisters, Sharon Sphatt of Oshkosh and Carla Augsburger of Winneconne; one brother, Davide (Maggie) of Oshkosh; mother and father-in-law, Fred and Dora Szesterniac of Redgranite; and several relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church, the Rev. Todd Smith officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Poklasny Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church.
