Sue Addington Kilgore (née Dallas) was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 4, 1935, to Harvey and Cora Dallas.
After finishing high school, Sue began nurse's training at South Hampton Hospital in NY. Later, she took a course to specialize in surgical nursing. Sue would always regard surgical nursing as her most rewarding medical assignment.
Sue worked in several hospitals, as well as earning her pilot's license. It was then that she met her husband, Joseph Kilgore. Sue and Joe were blessed with two sons, Scott and Craig. The family moved to Arizona and Sue began working at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix and later as an Occupational Nurse for Motorola, where she retired after 23 years.
No matter where in the world Sue's adventures took her, she remained a true believer in God and a strong member of her community. Sue was dedicated to her family and faith.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Cora Dallas, husband Joseph W. Kilgore, sons Scott A. Kilgore and Craig W. Kilgore, and granddaughter Kaylyn R. Kilgore. She is survived by brother Peter Dallas (Christine), daughter-in-law Stephanie (Scott), grandchildren Logan Harrison (Willow), Rhiannon Kilgore and Aidan Kilgore and great-grandchildren Alazai Harrison and Emmett Gracia. She is also survived by her niece Jeneane Prince (Rick).
