Bobby Lee Estes, 85, of Harrison, died Saturday, January 20, 2024, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, with his family by his side.

He was born April 10, 1938, in Alpena, to William James and Pauline Jones Estes. He served his country with honor as a member of the National Guard. He was also an active member of the Boone County Senior Center, a member of Assemblies of God, and an active contributor to the genealogy website "Find a Grave." Bobby's interests involved volunteering at the Senior Center, automotives, and antique collecting. Bobby's creativity is evidenced through his dedication to music, especially the guitar, which was his lifelong passion. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bill Jim Estes; and his brother in-law, Larry Babin, and his wife Carol Babin.

He is survived by his daughters, Cherri Brignac and Tammy Matherne; his nieces, Sheila Kendrick and Anna Babin; his granddaughters, Ashley, Tiffany, Skiler, and Neveah; and his grandsons, Nash, Paul, Nick, Michael, Jordan, Julian, and Brayden; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Holt Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Tollie J. Sutterfield officiating. Burial will be private in Alpena Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
