Eugene William Myers passed away at age 96 on Thursday, January 4, 2024 after a long and full life. Gene was born to Namon and Oma Myers on June 21, 1927 and grew up on a farm with his five sisters and two brothers.
After serving for the U.S. Army in Japan, he began working for the El Paso Electric Company where he retired in 1989. Gene believed in hard work, honesty, and the value of a handshake. He enjoyed spending his free time golfing, fishing, hunting, bowling, and dancing the night away with his wife Sandra.
