David Alton (Bubba) Swindle, 73 of Buffalo Gap, TX. passed away on January 14, 2024 at his home.

Bubba, as he was known to family and friends, was born on March 3, 1950 to Herman Alton (Hooter) and Eunice Fae (Doodlebug)(Roberson) Swindle.

He loved cooking, riding horses, dancing; he always had a story to tell, and he loved being around people. He will be truly missed.

Most of his life he lived around the Tuscola area; he also lived in Washington State, Louisiana and Florida. No matter where he was living, he was a true Texan at heart.

He was a jack of all trades. He worked in the oilfield, feed store, convenience store, cook, handyman and his favorite job at Perrini Ranch.

Bubba is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Dorothy Jane Bell.

He is survived by his sister, Nora Parsons; brother, Frank Swindle and wife, Kay. Other survivors include nieces; April Davis, Aleshia Swinney, Julie Humecki, Chrystal Hunt, and their families along with Dorothy Bells's family. Aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.

Memorial service will be 2:00 to 5:00pm Saturday February 10, 2024 at The Gathering Place 720 Main Street, Lawn, Texas.
