A memorial service was held on December 15, 2009, at Faith Baptist Church in Longmont, Colorado for Marlow Abdnor. He was born in Presho, South Dakota on December 23, 1922 the son of Albert and Julia Abdnor.

Marlow graduated from Presho High School and then attended the University of Nebraska where he graduated with a degree in Business, majoring in accounting. He had granted him an early graduation so he could enlist in the Air Corp soon after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

After his service, he worked in Huron, South Dakota and Hibbing and Bemidji, Minnesota. He owned and operated a hardware store in Litchfield, Minnesota for several years. It was in Litchfield that he met his wife, Margaret. They were married in Presho on April 4, 1964. They moved to Longmont, Colorado in 1976. Marlow was a long-time employee of Stapp Interstate Toyota of Longmont.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and three sisters.
