Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in North Richland Hills. Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Mr. Cyrier was born in Bourbonnais, Ill., and had lived in Northeast Tarrant County 18 years. He was a graduate of Southern Illinois University and was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Cyrier owned Mr. C's Hardware, 457 Bedford-Euless Road, for 2 1/2 years.
"He came here to work with Leonard's Department Store in Fort Worth as a hardware buyer," said his wife, Rosie. "We came straight from Cincinnati, Ohio."
He was the first president of the Southwest Tool Collectors Association and a member of the Lone Star (Model) "T" Club.
Mrs. Cyrier said the family would continue to operate the business at Bedford-Euless Road and Hurstview Drive.
"He never thought the business would fail," said Mrs. Cyrier. "I was probably the one with the doubt. He was always the positive one."
The family suggests that memorials be made in his name to St. John the Apostle the Catholic Church.
