Junior served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He then returned and worked at Kane Manufacturing for many years. While there he worked for the union and served as union president for a while. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandkids and nieces and nephews. He was also a member of the VFW in Mt. Jewett and the Marine Corp League.
He is survived by two sons, John Blauser of Allentown and Jason (Becki) Blauser of Russell; a daughter-in-law, Karen Blauser of Pittsfield; five grandsons, Ethan Bova, Benjamin Blauser, Jarred Blauser, Logan Blauser and Brenyn Whyte; two granddaughters, Sarah Blauser and Alleigha Blauser; three great-grandchildren; two sisters Kathy (Fred) Carrow of Westline and Wilma Jean Conn of Kane; two brothers, Chuck (Laurie) Blauser and Perry (Brenda) Blauser both of Westline and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son Andrew Blauser.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday (Jan 15) at the Cummings Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday (Jan 16) from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A funeral services will follow on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will Military Honors, will take place following the funeral in Bridgeview Cemetery.
