Christopher M. Perry of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on August 18th, 2023, at the age of 53, following a short illness.

Chris was born on September 16th, 1969, at Webb Airforce Base in Big Spring, Texas. His family moved to Maine when he was an infant and he grew up in Glenburn, Maine.

Chris graduated from Orono High School in 1988. He attended Washington County Vocational Technical Institute for a short period of time before relocating to Phoenix Arizona with his parents.

While in Phoenix, Chris held several jobs in maintenance and construction. Most recently, he was employed as a commercial plumber. He spent his free time repairing RVs and travel trailers and loved his Saturday morning breakfasts with his dad.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally L. (Rice) Perry; maternal grandparents, Arthur K. and Janet S. (Leighton) Rice; paternal grandparents, Melvin E. and Muriel P. (Pruett) Perry, and cousin, Tina M. (Rice) Browne.

He is survived by his father, Dr. Clyde M. Perry of Phoenix, AZ, his sister and her husband Suzanne (Perry) and Robert J. Halt, Jr. of Peoria, Az; nieces Caitlyn (Aymami) Berrellez of Colorado Springs, CO and Sarah Aymami of Plymouth, MI; and nephew, Braeden Blaine of Peoria, Az.

The family would like to thank Dr. Laura Schroeder and the nurses and staff from the medical ICU, and the 5th and 6th floors at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center for the kindness, care, and compassion they showed Chris during his hospitalizations. We will be forever grateful.

In lieu of flowers or donations to charity, we would ask everyone to remember that we may never know the challenges that some face, but we do get to choose how we interact with them. Please, choose kindness.
