Linda Jo King, age 75, of Springfield, MO passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, following a short illness. Linda was born in Monett, MO on Thursday, November 13, 1947; daughter of Richard E. and Josephine (Kuklenski) Cochran. She attended school in Pierce City, MO where she graduated in 1965. On January 15, 1966, she married Stanley J. King in Pierce City, MO.
Linda was welcomed to heaven by her parents, Richard and Josephine; her husband, Stanley; two children, KIMBERLY SNOOK and WESTON KING and her brother, Jim Cochran.
Surviving are the following: her son, Phillip King of Springfield, MO; three grandchildren; four siblings, Richard Cochran of Monett, MO, Dale Cochran of Springfield, MO, Deb Seman of Republic, MO, and Pam Barchak of Monett, MO, a sister-in-law, Sue Cochran of Republic, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM.
Graveside service will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Pierce City, MO on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM with Father Paul Pudhota officiating.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Mary, St. Patrick Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
