Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who enjoyed reading, TV, and football. The Florida Seminoles were her favorite team, but also the Georgia Bulldogs. She was also a loving mother to her fur babies and treated them like they were her children. A member of the First Assembly of God in Macclenny, Barbara always had a smile on her face no matter what she was going through.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, George, and her husband of 38 years, Robert Craig Hern. She is survived by her daughter, Katina Martinez (Ramon) of St. George, Georgia; brothers, George Alan Rothweiler (Lori) and Richard Rothweiler (Sandy); sister, Dianne Marie Copeland (Johnny); grandson, Robert Gene Martinez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32205, with Pastor Joshua Potts officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Blackburn-Curry Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Baker County Animal Services.
