Reuben Highsmith, of McNabb, Illinois died In his sleep June 13, 1954 at the home of his son in Wenona, Illinois. He was discharged recently from St Margaret's Hospital where he received care for a heart ailment. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery in McNabb, Illinois. Mr. Highsmith was born in Flat Rock, Illinois on May 19, 1873 to Cornelius and Martha (Harvey) Highsmith. He married Belle House in 1892 in West Point, Arkansas.
