William Barry of Sandy Hill departed this life. Deceased was one of the early settlers of Lee county and one of the first settlers of May Town, was honest and upstanding in all his dealings, and although he was in his eighties, his death was unexpected by the family and neighbors. On the 18th his remains were interred in the Sandy Hill cemetery.
