A. Jay Ward, born December 2, 1942 in Rexburg, Idaho to Arlo Ward and Emelia Muir.
Our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, great grandpa, and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

Jay worked in the retail industry for many years in management positions.

Jay loved traveling to the Tetons, drinking Diet Pepsi, and old western movies. His family was his pride and joy.

Jay is survived by his wife, Judie Nelson Ward; sons, daughters, brothers, sister, 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and his parents.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
