Beulah Jean King, 97, of Creston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 while surrounded by her family at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster. Jean was born on March 7, 1926 in Webbville, KY to William H. and Connie (Scruggs) Webb and married Henry H. King on Oct. 22, 1943. Bill preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2016. She was a member of Canaan Free Will Baptist Church. Jean enjoyed reading her Bible, making baby blankets for grandchildren, flower gardening, listening to gospel music and ceramics. She is remembered for her homemade bread, noodles, bread and butter pickles and her delicious pies, her hospitality to all who visited King's Acres, her wonderful heartfelt words of love and encouragement that she sent in many cards of get well and condolences to friends and family, her faith in God, her sparkling eyes and her beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, sons, William Henry Jr, and John Robert and sisters and brothers, Eunice McComas, Evelyn, Everett, Mary, Hager, Mason, Mildred, Leonard, Philip, Alta and Bradford Webb and Madge Anderson.
