Mrs. Jula was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., a daughter of the late Frank and Tophelia Piekara, and had been a resident of Willimansett for 24 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, John, Jr. at home and Paul of Granby; a brother, John Piekara in Wilkes Barre, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Lukas of Schenectady, N.Y. and Mrs. Ann Linko of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday morning from the Arthur J. Brunelle Funeral Home, Willimansett, followed by a liturgy of Christian burial in St. Mary's Church, there. Burial will be in St. Rose Cemetery, Aldenville.
