David Myron Bartner of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, passed away on January 2nd, 2024 at the age of 85.

David was born in The Bronx, New York, and grew up in Flushing Queens. He attended the New England School of Pharmacy, and received his degree in Pharmacology.

He married his wife Barbara in 1962, and moved to Fort Lee New Jersey. They started a family and had two daughters, Kathryn and Stephanie, and settled down in Parsippany New Jersey to raise their family. Later in life they moved to North Brunswick, and retired in Lawrenceville, NJ.

Before starting his career in pharmaceuticals, and he was a medic in the US air-force.

David was a pharmacist by trade. He worked in Pharmaceutical sales and management for over 30 years for Bristol Meyer Squibb. He then worked in Genworth financial selling long term care, and was a constant top performer in the company.

David was an avid Yankee fan, and did not ever miss a game. He loved watching history movies and war documentaries. In his earlier years in his career her enjoyed traveling the world with his wife and company. He was a proud Jewish man, and enjoyed celebrating the holidays with his family.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

David is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Bartner, his daughters Kathryn (Alan), and Stephanie (Jay). And his grandchildren Hannah (Mike), Samantha (Dan), Jacob, Hallie, and Carly.

Funeral Services are at Adath Israel Congregation, 1958 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Burial to follow at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.

Shiva will be held at the Teitelbaum Residence following the funeral, through Sunday.
