Blake was born on January 22, 1957 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Benjamin Augustus and Pegge M. (McCallister) Allen. He grew up in Lawton and graduated from Eisenhower High School. He then received his associate's degree from Cameron University. B.A. worked at Gibson's Discount Center as an sales associate for many years before working at Walmart for over 10 years. He then worked with American Airlines at the Lawton Airport and later at Easton's Ace Hardware. B.A. married Ruth Fernandes on April 17, 1998 and they remained in Lawton. He enjoyed playing golf and loved all Oklahoma Sooners sports.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Allen, of the home; his son, of Sanford, NC; his daughter, Kirsten Jones, of Hendersonville, NC; his sister, Shannon Allen Scharver, of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Samantha, Misty, Josh, Kaylee, and Cassie; a great grandson, Donnie; and his niece, Ashley Scharver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Tina Petersen.
