Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Annamae (Worseck) Schaffer. Jennie was a graduate of Dieruff High School. She worked as a cashier for many years at the former ACME Markets and Giant Food Stores until retiring in January 2023. Jennie enjoyed racing in her younger years and adored her first car – a baby blue Ford Mustang! She was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors: Nieces, Susan A. Baxter and her husband Jeff of Allentown and RoseMarie Gellis and her husband Andrew of Allentown; brother-in-law, Thomas Roth of Florida. Jennie was preceded in death by a sister Carlene Shankweiler and brothers Charles and John Schaffer.
