Anna Beth was a proud graduate of Coleman High School in 1951, where she acquired a solid educational foundation that would guide her throughout her life. In 1952, she joined the local telephone company. It was there she met Thomas Wesley Jackson, and they were married on February 22, 1952. With this union, two children were born, Brett and Allyson.
They lived in Coleman until 1970 and then moved to Brownwood where they lived until Wesley retired from the Telephone Company. Ann was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and the Coleman Bridge Club.
Family was of utmost importance to Ann. She is survived by her cherished son, Brett Jackson and wife Cathy; six grandchildren, Mark Salas, Betty Rodriguez, Ray Salas, Lesley Salas, Heather Dennis, and Landon Hinds; 11 great-grandchildren; one niece, Amy Hinds and husband Phillip; two nephews, Billy Glasson and Larry Glasson and wife Lisa; her life-long friend Ann Hargett; and many cousins and friends.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wesley Jackson; daughter and son- in- law, Allyson Moon and Jesse Moon; brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Ruth Glasson; and great-grandson, Haidon Layne Hinds.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, January 5, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
A private family interment will be in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home.
