Matthew Simon was born on October 23,174 to Frank Earl Simon and Hattie Estelle Harris Simon in Crockett,Texas. He was their 10th child.He attended Crockett High School and later attended Sam Houston State University. He accepted Christ at a young age and joined Bethel Baptist Church .Matthew married Jeselyn Ann Simon on March 17,2007.This Union was blessed with two children. Matthew was a member of Sunlight of Solomon #12 and Starlight 216 OES. Matthew worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 25 years, until his health failed. Matthew passed away on December 19,2023 at U.T.Southwestern in Dallas,Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Earl Simon and Hattie Estelle Simon ,sister, Harrietta Anderson,brothers,Fred James Kenner's, and James Earl Simon.
