Funeral services will be Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Betty Ann Hargrave Adams, 75, who died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 7:35 p.m. surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, granny, and great granny who loved unconditionally like no other. She loved her many fur babies through the years and is survived by Zoey, Maddie, and Mindi. In her early years she loved playing sports and spent many years coaching her children and others. She spent many years as an aide with the Acadia Parish School Board and retired after 15 years of service.

Fr. Matthew Higginbotham, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church-Washington, will officiate for the services. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.

Mrs. Betty is survived by her husband of 58 eight years, Roy J. Adams of Morse; one daughter, Kiisha Adams Hanks and her husband Audie of Crowley; one son, Kentry Adams and his wife Kelly of Rayne; nine grandchildren, Kailey Walsh and her husband Greg, Jamie Hanks, Doran Adams, Eli Adams, Ellie Adams, David Rogillio, Reed Hoffpauir, Riley Hoffpauir, Noah Hoffpauir; one great-grandchild, Theodore John Walsh and one on the way; the sister she never had, Dorothy Lopez Simoneaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Hilda H. Hargrave.
