William "Bill" James Moran, 70, of Naples, FL, died on November 21, 2021. He passed away in his home surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Michael F. Moran and Elizabeth Truby Moran Moyer of Salamanca and Allegany, NY. He was born and raised in the Olean, NY area, where he attended Allegany Central School. After a brief stint in the Army, he did some traveling and then resettled in Olean, where he started a family. After working many years at Dexter Hysol, he eventually retired to be near his children in Naples, FL , where he enjoyed painting, cooking, fishing, and playing guitar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step father Mark Moyer of Allegany, NY, sister Molly (Charles) Butler of Hanover, PA, and nephew Thomas M. Moran of Goldsboro, NC.

He is survived by his children Kara Moran, Nathan (Correna) Moran, ex-wife and friend Jeanette Crisafulli, and grandson Chace Moran, all of Naples, FL, sisters Beverly Hall of Jamestown, NY, Patricia (John) Schirrmacher of Olean, NY, LuAnn (Joseph) DeCerbo of Olean, NY, brothers Michael (Mary) Moran of Rochester, NY, Thomas (Pok Cha) Moran of Goldsboro, NC, Daniel (Terri) Moran of Portage, IN, stepsister Lizbeth (Geoff) Green of Phoenix, AZ, and stepbrothers Kenneth (Sylvia) Moyer of Allegany, NY, Joseph (Sandy) Moyer of Amherst, NY, Jason (Sharon) Moyer of Clifton Park, NY, and Jeffrey (Pam) Moyer of Palm Bay, FL, along with many nieces and nephews.
