Cookeville, Tenn., Nov. 20 --- PLEAS C. CHILCUTT, a well-known citizen of this county, died on Tuesday at his home in Bloomington Springs, Putnam County, after an illness of several weeks. He was 76 years old and was a son of the late Dr. M. R. Chilcutt of Putnam County, who in his day was a well-known physician and Cumberland Presbyterian minister.
The deceased was a man of the strictest integrity who enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew him. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife and by many other relatives in Putnam and Jackson counties. The deceased was a brother of the late John W.
