FORT VALLEY, Ga., Jan. 22 - The funeral of Mrs. Carrie Cooper Mathews, wife of Miller M. Mathews, who died at her home here early Monday morning after a lingering illness of several weeks were held from the residence on Tuesday afternoon, January 22 at 2 o'clock. Rev. N. H. Williams, of the Methodist church will conduct the funeral, interment will be in Oak Lawn cemetery. Besides her husband, who is a nephew of Judge H. A. Mathews, of the Superior court, she is survived by two children, Edgar Mathews and a daughter, Mrs. R. S. Braswell, Jr., two sisters, Mrs. Roy Adams and Miss Anna H. Cooper, all of Fort Valley.
