Derwin was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Alvin and Vivian Bradshaw. He lived most of his life in the Fort Worth area and recently moved to Granbury, Texas to be closer to family.
He graduated from Brewer High School in 1962 and attended college for two years. He married Jolene Bradshaw on October 28, 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas at Trinity Lutheran Church with whom he raised their family. They were married for 55 years.
Derwin served honorably for the National Guard for six years. He worked for General Dynamics and then later in food sales. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, camping with family and friends. He loved watching his kids and grandson play sports. He was their number one fan. His greatest joy was taking care of his grandson, Kane. Derwin loved all of his family and friends. He was an amazing husband and father who wanted the very best for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Vivian Bradshaw; and his three brothers, Richard, Charlie and Donnie Bradshaw.
He is survived by his wife, Jolene; daughter and son-in-law, Rayla and Keith Albee; grandson, Kane Albee; son and daughter-in-law, Cleat and Raenell Bradshaw and her three daughters.
