Bonnie Lynn Austin was called home to Heaven on December 20th, 2023. Bonnie lived her entire life by the example that God set forth. Everything that she did was to her best and to please the Lord. She had very strong convictions. Bonnie was always true and honest. Bonnie's sense of humor was always the best, and no matter her age she made sure to give you a good scare. She was much like her dad, a jokester in this way. Bonnie truly only had one fear in life and that was a mouse. It did not matter how tiny it was because to Bonnie it was as large as she could imagine it to be. Her family had always thought that seeing Bonnie jump, climb, and run as fast as she could was one of the funniest things that you could see. She had the best sense of humor, and how she loved to laugh. Bonnie was well known in the community as a face that you would see at Tipton County Public Works and the Soil Conservation Office. She was always ready to greet someone with a smile. After Bonnie's retirement she started to watch cooking shows, and she loved to test out those recipes for her family when she made dinners. She absolutely loved to cook, and you can bet that those meals were served in one of her many dishes that she collected over the years. Bonnie also had two other names that brought her many blessings in her life. Those names were Mama and Nana. She loved her family and everything that it brought her. Bonnie was a classy lady who was very sweet, kindhearted, and stood for her family. Her faith and love for Christ is one that her family will carry on in her legacy. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; William Henry Atkins & Addie "Mai" Max, and one sister, Vanessa Gail Atkins. She is survived by her husband, Robert Dale Austin, three children; James Bradley Holloway, Gail Nicole Kilgore, and Catherine Danielle Rogers (Brian), two sisters; Janet Greggs (Allan) and Brenda Scrafield, and eight grandchildren; Dylan Schlauch, Lindsay Kilgore, Dagan Schlauch, Lily Grace Holloway, Josiah Holloway, Adalyn Holloway, Eden Holloway, and Jade Holloway.
