Emmett O. Taylor, 83, of 11025 Kadota St., died in Park Avenue Hospital Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. after a long period of failing health.
Mr. Taylor was born July 15, 1876, in Lone Dove, Tex. He came to Pomona in 1942 from Okmulgee, Okla.
Mr. Taylor leaves his wife, Mrs. Elsie Taylor; seven sons, Seth D. Taylor, and E. O. Taylor Jr., both of Okmulgee; V. R. Taylor of San Dimas, E. T. Taylor of Los Angeles, D. L. Taylor and James M. D. Taylor, both of Pomona, and T. D. Taylor of Chino; two daughters, Mrs. Dorene Perry of Pomona, and Mrs. __________ of ______; and two brothers, C. W. Taylor of Goldenville [Holdenville], Okla., and William Taylor of Bowlegs, Okla.
Funeral services will be held next Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Pollock Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be made in Pomona Cemetery.
