Edwin Wendell Blitch, 60, of Tallahassee died Saturday.
The service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Trenton Cemetery in Trenton. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Culley's MeadowWood Riggins Road Chapel in Tallahassee (877-8191). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, 1304 E. Sixth Ave., Tallahassee 32303; or to a favorite charity. A native of Trenton and former resident of Brevard County, he had lived in Tallahassee since 1987. He was an engineer with Martin-Marietta at Kennedy Space Center for 30 years, was an Air Force veteran, and was a member of the Tallahassee Statesmen Lions Club, where he served as secretary for many years. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by a brother, Ernest Blitch of Matthews, N.C.; and three sisters, Evelyn Green, Dorothy Singer and Peggy Hartsfield, all of Tallahassee.
