Matthew Scott Gadd, age 55, passed away Saturday December 16, 2023, at his residence in Berea, KY. He was born February 19, 1968, in Berea, KY to the late Leroy and Brenda Roberts Gadd. Scott loved the outdoors, fishing, grilling, woodworking, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Reddia Dawn Gadd, three children, Adrienne Cotton, and her husband Lewis, of Mount Vernon, Ky, Patrick Gadd, and his wife Rose Marie of Mount Vernon, KY, Matthew Gadd of Mount Vernon, KY, one sister, Angel Roberts, and grandmother, Hazel Roberts. Five grandchildren, Katie Day, Jaiden Cotton, Brantley Cotton, Wayne Gadd, and Harley Gadd also survived.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:00PM Friday December 22, 2023, at the Rice Cemetery 3142 Old State Rd. Mount Vernon, KY 40456 with Rev. Wayne Miller officiating. Pallbearers are Patrick Gadd, Matthew Gadd, Jacob Sparks, Tyler Sparks, Frankie Carrier, and Kelvin Damrell. Visitation will be 12:00PM until 1:00PM Friday December 22, 2023, at the cemetery.
