Rita Powell Alder, a lifelong resident of Pima, entered into eternal life Monday morning, December 18, 2023, at the Beehive Homes of the Gila Valley in Thatcher, with her family gathered round about her. Rita was 90.
Funeral services for Rita will be conducted Thursday morning, December 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Pima Chapel by Bishop Preston Alder of the Thatcher Seventh Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Pima Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, December 27, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Thursday morning, December 28, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Pima Chapel Junior Sunday School Room.
