Edna Lillian Moyer Age 77.


"Edna Estabrook, a Los Altos resident for several years, died Wednesday in a Mountain View convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 77.

Mrs. Estabrook lived much of the past 11 years with her son, George H. Estabrook, and his family at ... Los Altos. Her husband, George O. L. Estabrook, a telephone company employe for 35 years in Southern California, died in Los Angeles in 1952.

Mrs. Estabrook was born in Ohio and moved to Long Beach in 1911. She met her future husband there and they were married in 1913. She moved to the Bay Area in 1957 and resided briefly in Los Gatos and San Martin before moving to Los Altos.

Mrs. Estabrook is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jane L. Smith of San Martin; a sister, Mary Dunning of Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Hayes Funeral Home, 795 Cuesta Drive, Mountain View. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Santa Monica." Peninsula Times Tribune (Palo Alto CA), 25 July 1968.
