Anna was born June 11, 1932, in the small town of Niles to James and Virginia Marsico. Anna had 10 siblings, outliving all of them, with the exception of her youngest brother, Jim.
Anna married Tom Mix in 1955 and went on to have three children, Janice, Kathleen and Tom, raising her family in nearby Warren. Anna lost her husband to cancer in 1987. In her later years, Anna developed a passion for sports, especially basketball and football, living out her final years in Orlando, Florida.
