Brenda Gail Gibson Barrett, amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a true friend to all, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda was born on March 2, 1962 to the late James Gibson Jr. and Elizabeth Marie Eudy.
She leaves behind her husband of 33 years, Steve H. Barrett; her son, Gary Gibson (wife Kate) of Petersburg; a devoted daughter, Brandy Gibson (husband Stacy) of Lexington; three brothers, Donald Gibson (wife Louise), Glen Gibson (wife Sonya), and Michael Gibson; eight grandchildren, Gary Jr (Bridgett), Dana (Ryan), Brayden, Katelyn, Eliza, Sydney, Alex and Chloe; two great grandchildren, Waylon and Kasen. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many more family and friends.
