Eugene "Gene" Ray Coltrane, age 92, PUlaski, Va.,passed away Wed., Jan. 15, 2020, at the home of his daughter and son in law, Judy and Dickie Nelson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Grace Spraker Coltrane and his parents, Clyde Livesay Coltrane, and Claude Ray Coltrane. He is survived by his daughters, Judith and Karen, two grandchildren, step granddaughter, five great grandsons, one great granddaughter, and two step great grand daughters.
Gene was enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II, stationed in the Philippines, providing humanitarian aid and relief. He was employed by Applichian Power Co. for 37 and one half years, as a Hydro Reservoir Building Supv.
Entombment at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Stevens Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
