Adam Edward Bertram Hetu - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden death of Adam Hetu at the age of 39. Cherished son of the late Brian Hetu and Connie Hetu and stepson of Mike McGovern. Dear grandson of Donelda Hetu. Loving brother of Sara (Clint) Meunier and Cory Hetu. Stepbrother of Ty McGovern and Kelly (Brian) Willick. Proud uncle to Natalee, Cole and Breahna, Hannah and Mason. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles as well as many more cousins.

We believe Adam was met by his predeceased family members, Brian Hetu (dad), Ed Hetu (grandfather), Donna Sigafoose (grandmother), Bert Sigafoose (grandfather), Jessica Sigafoose (cousin), Zach Sigafoose (cousin), Rebekah Blakkolb (cousin), and Edgar Sigafoose (uncle) with open arms and lots of laughter.

Adam was a long-time employee of Davy Jones, where he always met everyone with a huge smile. He met and became great friends with many while working. Adam worked behind the deli counter where he earned the nickname "The Sandwich King". Adam enjoyed being outside, whether it be playing sports, biking or just enjoying the day. He could frequently be found watching sports. Adam was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs (despite their record). He will be greatly missed by his family and friends but will forever be remembered.

Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Saturday from 1-3 & 5-7 p.m. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, those who wish to attend must RSVP with a time to attend the visitation: (COPY and PASTE the following link) https://signup.com/go/GGWvjnP

If you are attending, masks are mandatory. A private graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 556 N. Christina St., Sarnia, the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation, 180-663 Colborne St., London, or St. Joseph's Hospice, 475 N. Christina St., Sarnia.
