Davenport
Kathy Ann Hartman passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital, following a brief illness. The rite of cremation has been accorded and there will be a gathering to celebrate her life held from Noon until 4pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the First Church of the Nazarene, Davenport. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family.
Kathy was born January 15, 1961, in Davenport, a daughter of Edward and Myra (Springsteen) Gonzales. She was united in marriage to Andrew Hartman on December 25, 1993, in Davenport.
She had worked in retail for several area businesses over the years.
She loved the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved elephants, dogs, diamond art, watching Hallmark movies, and was a fan of the Chicago Bears and White Sox.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Andrew; daughter Samantha (Stephen) Sparrow of Davenport; grandson David Wagner; granddaughter Paige Sparrow; great grandson Owen Wagner; mother Myra Canezaro of Glendale Heights, IL; sister Kim (Dave) Flammini of Glendale Heights; brothers Paul (Cindy) Gonzales of Coal Valley, IL, Eddie (Heather) Gonzales of Kentucky; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as many bonus children, grandchildren, and a great granddaughter, who affectionately called her "mom" and "grandma."
She was preceded in death by her father and infant sister Allica Gonzales. May they rest in peace.
