Lee Ray Hennington
April 23, 1952 - November 30, 2023

LEE RAY HENNINGTON, 71, of Las Cruces, NM, passed away November 30, 2023. He was born April 23, 1952, in Lovington, NM. Lee was a fun-loving person, known for his generosity and being a friend to all. Lee served in the United States Army and bravely served his country in the Vietnam war.

Following his military service, Lee received his higher education at NMSU and later had a successful career as a Senior Field Engineer with Lockheed Martin, where he supported the Patriot missile system around the globe. He was respected by his colleagues and the military personnel he supported.

Lee Ray will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He liked to party with his friends, go to local festivals/concerts, buy a new car (often!), "hoard" nice clothing, go boot-scooting, play golf, and dine at his favorite restaurants.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory, a charity he supported for many, many years.

In typical Lee fashion, there are no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. A celebration of life will occur with details to be determined.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapel of Las Cruces and Sunset Crematory, 300 E. Boutz Road, 527-2222. Your exclusive provider for "Veterans and Family Memorial Care." For online condolences logon to www.bacasfuneralchapelslascruces.com
