Angela attended St. Paul's Cathedral School and John Carroll Catholic High School, graduating in 1956. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She lived in Homewood, Alabama for most of her life where she raised her family.
In her spare time, Angela enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up, spending time with friends and family, cooking Italian recipes with family, watching Alabama football and going ballroom dancing. Angela was a beautiful lady with a strong and independent personality. Many of us lovingly called her "Big Ang".
Angela worked hard as an administrative assistant for many different companies throughout the years. Her final place of employment was Bradford Health Services where she worked in their corporate office for twenty plus years and retired at age 78.
Preceded in death by the father of her children, Anthony L. Ardovino and her son-in-law, Chris Glenn. Survived by her three daughters, Suzanne Anselmo (Anthony), Theresa Bruno (Ken), and Toni Glenn; her grandchildren, John Anselmo (Angela), Laura Anselmo, Jake Bruno, Charlie Glenn and Frankie Glenn; her great grandchildren, Lulu Anselmo and Christopher Anselmo; and many nieces and nephews. May she rest in eternal peace.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. followed by the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1728 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, Alabama 35209. Graveside service to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
