Chuy is survived by his mother Graciela, his father Salvador, his sisters Ruby and Elizabeth, and his brother Jose. He was preceded in death by his grandpa Mucio, his uncles Roberto and Antonio, and his grandma Antonia.

Chuy attended Emiliano Zapata Primary School and Marion High School, where he gained a strong educational foundation. He further pursued his career as an electrician after completing his higher education at a trade school.

Chuy found solace and strength in his faith, worshiping at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His spiritual beliefs were an integral part of his life.

In his leisure time, Chuy enjoyed embracing life to the fullest. He had a zest for adventure and took pleasure in various activities.
