Michael W. Frame, 77 of Kempton, IL died Monday December 11, 2023 at 3:32am at Richard L. Owen Hospice Home, Peoria, IL.
Mike as born on January 20, 1946 in Ottumwa, Iowa a son of George and Eileen (Gish) Frame. He was also raised by his step-mother, Eilene Webster Frame. He married Patricia Ann "Patsy" Blundy on August 10, 1968 in Emington, IL. She preceded him in death on February 27, 2013.
Mike was a 1966 graduate of Kempton-Cabery High School. Before opening Mikes Market he was a butcher at Clapps Supermarket in Dwight, IL. He owned and operated Mike's Market in Kempton from 1974-1983 and then later was employed by IDOT from 1983 until his retirement in 2006. Mike was a die hard CUBS fan. He was a member of the Kempton American Legion where he served as past commander. He managed the Kempton American Legion from 1978-2020. He was a member of the United Methodist Church-Kempton, IL. Mike was a volunteer fireman for Kempton Fire Dept. for many years.
Mike served our country in the US Army from 1966-1968 stationed in Germany.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother and one step-sister: Rhonda Legan.
Inurnment will follow at Kempton Hill Cemetery, Kempton, IL.
