Word was received last Thursday afternoon by L.P. White, manager of the Panhandle Lumber Co., of the serious illness of his mother, Mrs. R.G. White, at her home in Austin.

Mr. and Mrs. White and their two children left immediately, arriving there Friday, just before death came.

Burial was made Saturday at Austin, Mr. White and family returning home Tuesday.

Besides Leonard, the deceased left a husband and three daughters and two other sons. She was 75 years of age.

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma White, 74, who died at a local hospital Friday, were held from the residence, 3311 Duval street Saturday at 4 p.m., conducted by the Rev. L.M. Barrett and Dr. A.L. Aulick. Honorary pallbearers were R.J. McLean, L.P. White, W.R. White, E.R. White, J.W. Ward and John Ward. Active pallbearers were J.F. Howse, B. Lang, George White, V.M. Ehlers, E.G. Eggert and Madison Smith. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, R.G. White, and six children, Miss Ella White, Miss Cora White, Mrs. R.J. McLean and Earnest White of Austin, L.T. White of Dimmitt and W.R. White of Wichita Falls, and eight grandchildren.
